Today we travel to one of the corners of the earth where mysticism is at its peak. It is the Taktsang monastery, known as Monastery Nido del Tigre, located in unemployment, Bután. A pilgrimage place located in the Himalayas and that, in addition to its beauty, hides a mysterious story.
It was built in 1692 by Gyalse Tenzin Rabgye, a pilgrim who, according to the legend, ascended to the Takstang cave mounted on the back of a tigress. Legend has it that he was meditating for three months in the cave and that subjugated the eight categories of evil transforming that inhospitable place into a Buddhist corner.
Its history and its strange position in the world, located in a cliff at more than 3,000 meters above the unemployment valley, and 700 meters to the bottom of the valley, have made it a pilgrimage place. However, whoever wants to see and touch it, will not have it easy. At least four hours, two if you are riding a horse, reach this majestic Buddhist temple that defies the law of gravity.
All those who have visited it agree that, at so many meters high, an incredible peace is breathed. Who has said that peace is easy, yes, it must be incredible to check with your own eyes as the human being is able to do incredible things such as building a monastery in full cliff, or, walking four hours to see it.
