This Thursday, October 19, World Breast Cancer Day is celebrated, a date in which the population is intended to be sensitized by focusing on the importance of early detection, in order to improve the prognosis and survival of the cases of cases of Breast cancer. According to the World Health Organization (WHO):
- In 2020, 685,000 people died from breast cancer worldwide.
- Approximately half of all cases of breast cancer affect women who do not have specific risk factors apart from sex and age.
- Breast cancer occurs in all countries of the world.
