Last Monday, March 13, Aura Fundació and Natura They conducted, jointly, a workshop with great artists: some of the foundation users. The objective was that each one could express, through the plastic arts, what is freedom. WAW! What a challenge. Such an ethereal, abstract and somewhat diffuse concept to put color and shapes. Not easy!
Joel, Berta, Genís, Rubén, Ignasi, Alex, Judit, Tamara, Claudia, Teresa, Raúl, David, Laia, Miquel and Anabel participated in the workshop. Fifteen brave who faced the blank sheet to shape abstraction. In the workshop they explained, through their works, the process of creation and what they told us, as they see freedom.
We present them!
Joel
Socking and meticulous at work, he showed us that he feels comfortable working with clean and curved strokes where the color is important. He told us that he loves to dance and a little bird has sneaks us that in Brief he starts working as a waiter.
Bertha
Perfectionist and committed to his works sought perfection throughout the creation process. Fond of dance country made it clear that she is doing more to draw defined forms and not so much abstraction.
Genís
Laugh, laugh and laugh with his partner on the right (with whom he also does theater). Together they commented on their great works of art to satiety and helped with the occasional advice on how to combine colors.
Rubén
Touch the violin, go to theater classes and love to swim. As we saw in his works, freedom is expressed with the orange color (his favorite) and swimming (either in the sea or in a pool).
Ignasi
Callado and observer began somewhat shy with paper and color and ended up being released in the process. We pass brown colors and timid shapes to more daring strokes full of primary colors.
Alex
A lover of classical music. He recommends listening to nocturnal in itself Chopin Bemol to calm us down, relax and feel free. "If I had a bad day, I always wear it at night and relax." He loves rope instruments and says that if he sees a viola is hypnotized. As if he were in love.
Judit
A creative whirlwind. She tells us about impulsivity, which is part of her freedom. The girl of fire call her classmates. He knows that if he had to define with one of the four elements it would be the fire, sure, so his work represents his element.
Tamara
Collage lover and, therefore, is the technique he used most for his creations. He told us how he had wanted to capture freedom through a painting where the figures escape from him.
Claudia
Sitting next to Laia they supported each other at all times. She sought inspiration in the sea and the movements of her body to unlock and flow in the creative process.
Laia
More comfortable painting standing. And it is that to flow in freedom you sometimes need that, flow. She did it but well. As? Working standing and moving throughout the canvas and space. Ah! But without invading Claudia's, of course;)
Teresa
Eager to create, no doubt. Which he started to draw and paint nobody stopped it. He did more than 5 works in the session! And, for her, to face the nothingness of the blank and start with the first stroke is a paten bread.
Raúl
We would define it as a meticulous joker. His work technique was to generate little but work the detail well. Between stroke and stroke, smiles from their companions Claudia and Tamara who did not stop laughing with their ingenious comments.
Miquel
He loves writing and that was noticed that his work contained words. He likes that, a few years ago, he taught some courses of poetry to one of his classmates. In the workshop he wanted to talk that freedom is life, and life is always dualism and equality.
David
He loves poetry and is learning to touch the piano. Writing is when you feel free since you are able to connect with what you feel. It started very very motivated but, after the achievement of two works, he decided to take it more calmly.
Anabel
Fock and focused on her work you can see that she likes to draw since the smile accompanied her throughout the work session. He is not afraid of color and that is reflected in his work.
We are presented with all of them since they will have a fundamental role this summer. We have a hand entity project that, without them, would not make sense.
We soon tell you more :)
