In addition to being a prestigious American film director, David Lynch has been practicing transcendental meditation for more than 30 years and in 2005 he founded the David Lynch Foundation, an organization that promotes education based on consciousness as a way to achieve world peace. In the video we tell us about that technique applied to creativity, and in its letter of presentation of the Foundation it tells us the reasons and intentions that led him to found it.
The Foundation was established to ensure that every child in the United States who wants to learn and practice the transcendental meditation program can do so. The TM (transcendental meditation) program is a program in depth, and is practiced widely in the world to develop all the creative potential of the brain and the mind, improve health, reduce stress and improve academic results. They offer scholarships to students so that they can learn the technique and receive the complete teaching monitoring program throughout their years of studies, and to ensure that they receive maximum benefit. They also offer scholarships for students who want to attend the growing number of schools and universities founded under this approach.
We find this humanistic approach to education very interesting. Although it is better that you listen to what it is from the hand, mouth and eyes of the director of Twins Peaks. You miss the video.
