SAVING THE AMAZON
Bosque Natura is a project in collaboration with Saving The Amazon, an NGO that fights against the climate crisis through the preservation of the Amazon by planting native trees alongside local indigenous communities in the tropical rainforest.
The Amazon jungle is the largest region of tropical forest on the planet and is of vital importance for life on Earth. It is the most extensive tropical forest on the planet, with covering approximately seven million km2.
Since 2020, Natura has initiated a collaboration by planting 1,777 trees in the Grand Indigenous Reserve of Vaupés, offsetting the CO2 emissions generated by our company.
The forest is composed of different tree species, among which we highlight: Loiro (Ocotea sp.), Siringa (Sagotia racemosa Baill), and Avina (Monopteryx uaucu), which represent 97.9% of the entire Bosque Natura.
