The Natura Award celebrates its 30th edition

It was born in 1994 with a donation of 499,000 pesetas to Doctors Without Borders. What began as a gesture of solidarity has become, three decades later, a consolidated initiative that has supported more than 85 social and environmental projects.

How have we managed to get here?

Thanks to every person who has bought a candle, a Christmas present, or a summer dress at any of our stores. The Natura Award is funded with a portion of the company's profits, and every purchase adds up.

Over the years, the initiative has become more professional. An expert consultant from the third sector technically evaluates all candidacies. From these, the finalist projects emerge, and the team of people who work at Natura votes for the winners. Technique and emotion. Rigor and heart.

Times have also changed: applications that used to arrive by postal mail are now completely digital.

But the essential remains intact. The purpose is still the same: to recognize and support those who work every day to change the world. Those who take action against social and environmental injustices. Those who are not complacent.

Congratulations to all the people behind every NGO. To those who apply and to those who continue to fight, always.
And yes, we are already on the 30th edition.

If you are an NGO and have an initiative to improve the world, discover the rules and how to participate.

4 voices. 30 editions. One purpose: to make the world a better place

Over three decades, four winning organizations tell us what the award is, what it's for, and how it has changed the lives of thousands of people
