Today we celebrate the World Water Day, and we want to highlight the importance of caring for one of the planet's most valuable natural resources. Without water, there's no life.
On a day like today, we want to tell about the charitable project that Natura has been carrying out since 2012: Water for Water. An iniciative aimedat raising funds for the NGO Aigua pel Sahel, dedicated ti building water wells in Burkina Faso to bring water to communities in areas of extreme urgency.
The project is simple: you buy a bottle of water in one of our stores, and that gesture brings water to arid areas in Burkina Faso. How? Each bottle you purchase has a value of 1€. Natura allocates 50% of the value to the NGO. With the remaining 50%, Natura allocates €0.127 to producing the bottle; €0.27 to logistics and distribution, and the remaining €0.10 is designated for paying the VAT.
