In the world there are more than 6 thousand languages, and according to UNESCO more than 2,000 are in danger of disappearing. This is the world in which we live, a planet that has been affected over the years, for better or worse, by globalization. Culture is constantly changing and part of its evolution is adaptation. Many countries have left their traditions and adapt to others, western culture imposing themselves as a model to follow for many of them. What should be asked is to what extent it is acceptable to allow our roots to disappear completely.
It is the differences between individuals that enrich the world in which we live, it is the ones that make us surprise when we go to another city or to some “lost” corner of the planet. Wealth is in diversity and must be celebrated.
An example is the collection of portraits that we present below. They are a few photographs of people from various parts of the world. A fact that shows that the world could be seen through thousands of looks and, above all, in each of their face because there we can contemplate an identity, a story, a person.
