The landscape is an extensive dotted cane of real palms and splashed from small bohios, in which the guajiros reside with their families.
On the roads, more or less close to the road that crosses the island through its center, transits the small life of every day.
Men and women who move to the fields. Or that, entry in the afternoon, they head to the closest population, which constitutes their supply center and their usual place for meetings and meetings.
But, before, just after the day, it is normal to cross with schoolchildren riding on horseback.
The young students in the area are expert riders and are used to travel, daily, the distance that separates their houses from the regional school.
Riding alone or sharing a mount. Holding the snack bag. And with the uniform, red and white, glowing under the sun.
