Legal bases - Natura Award 2026

Finalists and winners

The Natura Award has a financial endowment of €65,000. The entire prize must be invested in the project. The amount may be distributed among different projects, so we recommend submitting projects between €15,000 and €25,000.

Submission

Projects must be submitted by July 22, 2026, using this form. Projects received on July 23 will not be entered into the competition. Before submitting a project, we recommend visiting the website and reviewing the evaluation criteria. Submitted projects must be written in Spanish. No one related to the Natura company may participate. The format is open.

Categories

The Natura Award has two categories: Environmental and Social. Each submitted project must clearly specify which category it is applying for. If the project addresses both aspects, the entity will apply in the category it deems most appropriate for its objective. The same project cannot be submitted to both categories.

Requirements

Only organizations covered by the regime provided in Title II of Law 49/2002, of December 23, ("Tax regime for non-profit entities and tax incentives for patronage") may submit projects. This requirement will be verified by including a scanned copy of the relevant certificate in the application. You can see an example here. Failure to include this certificate or an equivalent document will invalidate the application. Each organization may submit only one project.
Submitted projects must be completed by December 31, 2027.
Projects lasting more than 12 months will not be accepted.
Finalist projects commit to providing Natura with a 1-minute video explaining the submitted project. Winning projects commit to providing the material and information required by Natura to monitor the project. Those responsible for the on-the-ground execution of the winning projects will, to the extent possible, present the project during a visit to Natura employees.

Decision

The award will be decided before September 30, 2026, and communicated personally to the selected entity or entities. The award ceremony will take place in the months following the notification of the decision. Entities that participated in the call but were not awarded will receive communication via email. The results will be published in Natura stores during November 2026.

Jury

The jury is composed of Natura members advised by professionals in the evaluation of projects for nature conservation, development cooperation, and humanitarian aid.
